I am passionate about restoring pride to Salisbury. I want us to have the city we deserve and a city government we can believe in.
I have the practical experience and leadership to implement our vision of a more vibrant and safe Salisbury. Together, we can rebuild the Salisbury we love and deserve. I am ready to do my part. My name is Jake Day and I ask for your vote.
Bringing Prosperity to Salisbury
Salisbury has historically been the economic center of the Delmarva Peninsula. In spite of this economic gravity, we have been slow to recover from the recent Recession. Our recovery will quicken once we recognize that the New Economy requires us to focus on place-based economic development, attracting talent and creating a safe community with a vibrant culture and outstanding schools. We must work to attract more of the graduates of Salisbury University to stay, and invest, in our community.

Our city has been in the midst of a renaissance. We have been investing in our heart and soul. It is – and must be – only the beginning. I am committed to leading our City forward, capitalizing on the accomplishments of the past two years and accepting nothing less than wholesale change. With one of the lowest median ages of any city in Maryland, we must appeal to future generations if we are going to continue our progress.
